A central concern of the association is the promotion and maintenance of quality standards when casting roles. The BVC is committed to
- Quality standards and seriousness when casting roles;
- the establishment, visibility, strengthening and maintenance of the profession “Casting Director” ;
- the exchange of information and opinions with the specialist industry, politics and the media;
- a responsible participation in shaping film policy and structural processes.
